Workplace Investigations, Mediation & Training
Investigations
Not sure how to resolve conflict in the workplace?
An informal investigation will provide answers as to what steps need to take place to solve the conflict without causing division in the workplace.
Alleged Discrimination, Harassment, or Bullying?
A formal investigation will provide specific answers as to what is taking place in the workplace so that the appropriate action can be taken.
Mediation
Before the mediation commences, I speak with each person individually to help them feel comfortable opening up during the mediation. Many times, when I talk with people individually, they tell me they think mediation will be a waste of time because the other person will not change, and if they don’t change nothing will get better. As we mediate, each party to the mediation obtains a greater understanding of where the other person is coming from, and how they are contributing to the situation. People have new insights that they did not have before mediation started. These new insights are what makes the difference.
I am not the typical attorney mediator. I am also certified in the Myers-Briggs personality assessment. Additionally, I am certified as an Emotional Intelligence and Intentional Change Theory coach through Case Western Reserve University. These added skills provides insights to help repair relationships so people can move forward and create the workplace they aspire to.
