Negotiation
As your attorney I will help you develop a plan so you can achieve the results that work for you. I will negotiate with your spouse or their attorney, and I will prepare all the paperwork that has to be filed with the court.
Negotiation is effective at helping:
People who want the guidance and protection of their own attorney, yet desire to
avoid the expense and hassle of litigation.
Those who are unable to negotiate a satisfactory agreement with their spouse, and
would like someone to negotiate on their behalf.
People who have issues they would like to keep private, such as complex finances, ownership of small businesses, or personal issues such as alcoholism.
Negotiations can take place outside of your presence, or we can work together at the same table. The agreements are filed with the court as a dissolution.

FAQ’s
Can an attorney who represents me in negotiation also represent me in litigation?
Yes - in fact, that’s quite common.
What if my spouse will not disclose information?
The court will not grant a dissolution unless there has been full disclosure. It is common for spouses to refuse to share documents with their spouse, but they usually share them with an attorney.
Will negotiation work if one of us owns our own business?
Yes, spouses can agree on valuation experts which saves a couple a substantial sum of money.
Can negotiation work if my spouse and I argue all the time?
Yes. Mediation and negotiation are both effective for high conflict cases because the communication with a professional is much different than when the spouses talk just with each other.
